The Kham Aid Foundation was founded in 1997
in Los Angeles by three friends who wanted to make a difference in Kham.
Its first undertaking was conservation of Tibet's architecture and art. Since
then the Foundation has developed a broad range of assistance
programs.
KAF
is a California non-profit corporation, and tax-exempt
according to section 501(c)(3) of the US federal tax code.
