Patricia Frustace was bitten by the travel bug at an early
age, being a military brat she had traveled to a number of locations before
her family settled in the Washington DC area. Patricia decided one day about
2 years ago that personal volunteering, while satisfying, wasn’t as much
as she could be doing to help others, so she joined the American Red Cross.
Two years and about 10 disasters later…. She finds herself looking for
additional opportunities to give back to her community (whether it be local
or global). Even now she dabbles her toes in the waters of self employment,
seeking to create a not for profit adventure travel company that seeks to give
money back to the communities traveled through, stressing her own life motto
of putting your feet where your heart is. In her spare time she trains
for Ironman distance triathlons and , snow boards and plays soccer.
