PROGRAM ACCOMPLISHMENTS

2006: We delivered $5,665 worth of medicines and equipment to the Shang-ye Charity Hospital, Gyalten Li-le Charity Clinic, Shechen Charity Clinic, and the Xinlong Le-an Clinic where they will be used by low-income patients. Volunteer and sponsor support helped one very ill student get life-saving treatment for lupus. 2005: With the help of our then education program director Kara Jenkinson, a little girl in Dawu named Renchin Tso was able to receive the stomach surgery she needed. 2004: We gave $4,741 worth of medical equipment and drugs to the Shangye Charity Clinic, Gyalten Rinpoche’s Tibetan Medical Clinic, and the Shechen Charity Clinic. 2003: We gave $32,922.95 worth of NEW medical equipment to the Shangye Charity Clinic, the Ashu Nomad Charity Clinic, Gyalten Rinpoche’s Charity Clinic, Zhuwo Clinic. (Special thanks to Direct Relief International for their contibuting a heart monitor and pulse oximeter). 2002: $10,195 worth of supplies brought to rural clinics
