Wheelchairs to Kham Providing mobility to disabled Tibetans

Since 2000, Kham Aid Foundation has given away more than 1,090 wheelchairs to Tibetans and other disabled people in Sichuan Province, China.  Our team of 6-12 volunteer medical specialists travels to remote towns and villages to deliver wheelchairs to the disabled and, when possible, treat their disabilities.

The wheelchairs come from local factories, and our Chinese partners help us obtain them at the discounted price of $100 each. With the support of sponsors, Kham Aid Foundation was able to distribute 66 wheelchairs in April 2007.

 HELP US HELP THEM

by completing this WHEELCHAIR SPONSORSHIP FORM  and returning it to us. After the next distribution, you will get back information and  photographs of the people you’ve helped.

Thank you for your support!
